I hold Bachelor of Secondary Education and Bachelor of Science degrees from Flinders University. I majored in Mathematics and Earth Sciences. I have also completed studies in the areas of Physics and English.
Experience
In addition to my training at the Flinders University School of Education, I have two years of private tutoring experience, primarily in the areas of middle and high school level mathematics, physics, and Earth and space sciences. I can tutor students in 10th through 12th-grade physics and Earth and space sciences, as well as math for years 7 to 12, general science for years 7 to 9, and English for years 7 to 11. Depending on the specific topic, I am also able to offer private tutoring in many university topics within these subject areas. I enjoy tutoring as it enables me to apply the strong content knowledge and educational practices that I have developed through my past studies and experiences as a pre-service teacher to develop individually catered instruction and learning experiences. As part of training to be a teacher, I have all of the required documentation, such as RAN training and CRES clearance.
