University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) BSc Honours Biology (specialization in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) 2015, graduated with distinction in my honours year. I have balanced both school, work, extracurriculars and a thesis so I have fantastic time management abilities.
Experience
I have had a 95% average through my high school courses and gained distinction at the University of Waterloo. I have taken plant, human, and bacterial molecular biology; advanced biotechnology; advanced cell biology; a handful of biochemistry courses and one year of calculus at the university level. I've taken many specific courses including human physiology, prokaryotic physiology and biochemistry, and I've taken general courses like zoology, evolution, ecology. I have tutored non-english speaking university students in the English language and greatly improved their English ability and am hoping to start helping students with my favourite subjects in biology and math. I want to help students understand the material as well as I do. I've always been able to organize the ideas in my head in a way that makes it easy to understand as opposed to memorize.
