I have a Degree in Teaching and Learning and have taught in a range of educational settings. I also have a variety of Certificates in specific learning areas for example Literacy and Numeracy programs. I also have a range of certificates surrounding my work with Trauma and how it impacts on child development as well as education.
Experience
Prior to studying my teaching Degree I worked in a number of schools as a teacher assistant where I would work one on one with students with learning difficulties. Have over 5 years teaching experience within the Primary age classroom. Worked as a Special Education Teacher where I taught a range of students with learning difficulties and disabilities. Currently working in a Primary school.

Monday after 3PM, Wednesday after 3PM, Thursday after 3PM, Friday after 3PM, Saturday in the morning

Hobbies
I am very passionate about teaching and have connected and taught a wide variety of students within Alice. My speciality is working with Primary aged students particularly with literacy and numeracy. I particularly enjoy working with students who find academic work challenging as I try and find ways for students to connect to the learning and retain the information by making it meaningful and relevant.
