I like to think of myself as more of a mentor than a tutor. Someone to help guide students throughout their two years of the IB regardless of subjects. I help all my students with their organisation and prioritisation skills, give them little tips their teachers or other students might not recognise as invaluable, and offer support in all forms.
I know exactly what the IB is looking for, having been there myself. I can provide that little edge that teachers often overlook. It's about hard work and knowing what, and how, to learn.
Out of my 15 students in November 2014, every one received the ATAR they were aiming for or higher. 2 of my students acheived a 44/45. 2 received full marks for their English Extended Essays. One student who came to me with a failing grade in French Ab Initio finished with a grade 5, another with a grade 3 in HL Chemistry finished with a grade 5. One student, to whom I taught the HL Biology syllabus in a month over Skype moved from a failing grade to finish with a grade 6.
All of my students who went for their exams in November 2013 received 6 or 7s in their subjects. One particular student came to me with a grade 3 in SL Chemistry halfway through year 12 and received a grade 6 in her final exams.
HobbiesI am very outgoing and thrive off others' energy. I am able to explain things succinctly, clearly and in a logical manner as that is how I learn best too.
In my spare time I am either at the gym, reading at a cafe, or doing casual modelling or working on some photographic/fashion styling.

Fantastic tutor! She responded really quickly and was super enthusiastic about helping me with english! She was also really accommodating when I needed to reschedule or needed help outside of the lesson (e.g. answering questions or making essays). She was able to show me exactly what I needed to include in an IB english essay and so my marks improved significantly for my year 12 half yearly!! Wish Id found her earlier!! She also helped me with my theory of knowledge presentation and some french. Really good at explaining things and really fun to work with! Highly recommended!!
